At KELP, your privacy matters as much as your kindness does. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the steps we take to keep it safe.
What we collect
When you create an account or submit a message, we collect basic information such as your email address and the content of the messages you write. We also collect minimal usage data — like which campaigns you viewed — to help us improve the platform.
How we use it
We use your information solely to operate the KELP platform: to process and deliver messages, send you status updates about your submissions, and improve the experience over time. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
Anonymity
Messages submitted through KELP are delivered anonymously. The recipient organization receives only the message content and the sender tag you chose (e.g. "From a neighbour"). Your name and email are never shared with partner organizations or recipients.
Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Message content is kept to fulfil delivery obligations and to maintain a record of community contributions. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
