How KELP Works
It starts with a duck. It ends with someone holding your words in their hands.
STEP 1
Someone needs letters.
Every campaign on KELP starts with a real person, a real group, or a real community that could use some encouragement. A campaign is simply a story submitted to KELP by someone who needs kind words, reviewed, approved, and made available for people to write to. Maybe it is a group of missionaries heading somewhere hard. Maybe it is a nursing home full of people who rarely get visitors. Maybe a local business wants to spread a little kindness to their own community. Whatever the story, KELP reviews every campaign before it goes live. Nothing gets published without our approval.
STEP 2
A local business sponsors it.
When a campaign is approved, a local business steps up to sponsor it. That business gets a KELP duck display with a unique QR code linked directly to the campaign they chose to support. It sits at their checkout, their counter, wherever their customers will see it. When someone scans it, they land in KELP, they read the story, and they write something kind. Every scan also counts as a duck collected toward rewards. So the more sponsor locations you visit, the more ducks you find, and the more rewards you earn.
STEP 3
You write something kind.
You do not need to be a writer. You do not need the perfect words. You just need to show up for someone who could use it. Read the story. Write what feels right. Hit send. It takes two minutes and it costs nothing. Your message goes into a collection of letters that KELP holds until the campaign ends. If you are signed in, that letter also counts toward your duck rewards and you will be notified when it reaches someone's hands.
STEP 4
KELP prints and delivers them.
When the campaign closes, KELP prints every approved message on a real card and delivers the full collection to the person or community who needed them. Not a notification. Not a digital message. A real stack of real letters from real strangers who took two minutes to say something kind. Signed-in users receive a notification when their letter has been delivered. That is something someone can hold onto.
That is it. No catch. No cost. Just kindness moving from one stranger to another.
